EXCEPTIONAL REGION

The Maison Dartigalongue is in the Armagnac region of Gers in the heart of Gascony.

The area wich holds the "appelation controlée" comprises a large part of the Gers region and certain surronding distrints in the Lot et Garonne and the Landes regions.

The "appellation controlée" is divided into the Bas Armagnac, The Tenareze and the Haut Armagnac. It is the Bas Armagnac, reputed to produce the finest vintages, That you will find Nogaro and the armagnac of "Croix de Salles"
